People who are upset at the re-naming of a previously corporately named arena…need to go back to yelling about ANYTHING else. #WhoCares
Corporations that actually make something and provide a service without oligarchy and government protection – whose products and services provide utility to the economy can knock themselves out spending whatever dollars they want to market their wares. But a Canadian financial institution ????? THE MONEY IS NOT THEIRS.

This is about spending OPM. There is no freaking way in hell that Scotiabank stakeholders will realize a return on that money spent. $ 40 M per year. Are you nuts? Anyone who thinks this has value for the people – shareholders and depositors – whose money is being used by Scotiabank is INSANE. TOTALLY.
Shareholders and depositors should immediately sell their shares and pull out their money since Scotiabank is obviously not concerned with the stewardship of depositors hard earned money. This is a scandalous outrage. The wrath of stakeholders should be immediate and harsh.
And the Board of Directors of Scotiabank and its Executive Management should be booted out and fired. Despicable bastards wasting peoples’ money. This is a new low for banks – even for them. Puts them on the same rung as child molesters, lawyers, and politicians.
